You know good fish and chips because when you finish there is no grease on the plate or your fingers. Lovely food, good service.
Excellent piece of fish and great burgers. It's the only place I know where you can get an 'extra large' sausage.
Phoned ahead with our order, collected 15 mins later.Really tasty food. We had Cod and chips (x3) sausage in batter and chips and Haddock and chips. No complaints from anyone! All impressed and service and food.
Tried this for the first time instead of my usual fish and chip shop. Absolutely brilliant! Very clean premises, friendly chatty staff, a good alternative menu and, most importantly, beautifully cooked fish and chips with lovely golden crisp batter, not soggy/ greasy at all and a good portion size of both fish and chips. A little further out of my way but well worth it and I shall be returning!
This must be the best fish and chip shop in the area. The quality is excellent and the portions generous. The cooking is not greasy , unlike many others. The fish is lovely and so far bone free. Gets 4.5 on Trip Advisor. Service is "brilliant" and staff are always smiling and helpful.Opening times are good (11:30 to 9:30 Mon-Sat) and there is parking outside on the street. Parking is not generous, room for half a dozen cars or so , so can be full at popular times....opening times for March ..may be different at other times... check website.Forgot to say that it is very clean with a 5* hygiene rating and it takes plastic including "touch and pay".
